To say I am a tough patient to wrangle into a medical office, let alone an operating room would be an understatement. I have some good reasons but Dr. Lee not only set my mind at ease but she arranged a team that worked with my phobias. She was amazing. It finally clicked just before I had the anesthesia. She was AMAZING with such empathy, and I was a very lucky person to have someone so very thoughtful as well as a total professional. Thanks will never be enough, I will just have to be a good patient instead.

Dr. Le is the best doctor I’ve ever been to. He took the time to explain in-depth (and in basic kindergarten terms) why I had difficulty swallowing and gave me several options for treatment. I could tell he was looking out for what made most sense over the most expensive option right away, which I sincerely appreciate as a young adult. I’ve been trying to treat my issue for years and Dr. Le is the first to know exactly what is happening and have a treatment plan. Highly recommend him to anyone experiencing GI issues!

I don’t even know where to begin. Dr. Kovalak can’t be beat. She’s the ultimate best.

Dr. Kovalak is an excellent physician, she is very thorough and was familiar with my medical history. She explains things well and answered all my questions. She explained the next steps to determine my diagnosis and why the procedure was needed. My procedure results indicated she was correct about her predicted diagnosis.

I am a new patient of Dr. Fairbanks and I truly admire and respect this physician. She took all the time I needed to have my questions answered. I find Dr. Fairbanks extremely polite, caring, honest and personable, and I have put my personal GI issues in her hands. I trust whatever she tells me and hope to have my GI issues resolved soon. I recently saw Dr. Fairbanks for some GI issues that I have been experiencing for approximately 2 months. I found her to be highly personable and was comfortable with her from the very beginning. I appreciated how she seemed really engaged with me and took the time to ask me a lot of questions. It was very apparent that she was knowledgeable and confident in giving me her professional opinion on my condition. What I found touching was how she acknowledged the expense of tests and stated that rather than ordering a lot of expensive tests right off the bat, she recommended that I start with the one test that she felt might confirm her suspected diagnosis. I left the office with a plan of action and regardless of the test results, I feel in really good hands with her. On a side note, her MA Leslie was also friendly, helpful and competent. I really had a great experience for it being my first time as a patient at South Denver GI.

I am a new patient of Dr. Fairbanks and I was impressed with the care and time she took and the fact that she really listened and was thorough in her examination. She took copious notes, leaving ‘no stone unturned’ in regard to my symptoms. She clearly has a command of knowledge in her field and was quick to acknowledge what her level of expertise is and what it is not. I appreciated her openness and honesty and would have to say one couldn’t ask for more in a physician! Her office staff were competent, caring and helpful in answering questions. I believe Dr. Fairbanks truly cares about her patients, and I am grateful to have her working on behalf of my health!

It is never pleasant to have gastro problems, however, the staff at your office from top to bottom have been very accommodating. They take a personal interest in your condition and imagine this; THEY RETURN PHONE MESSAGES PROMPTLY. I’m not completely better yet but have total confidence they will get me there. I highly recommend this practice.

These people were all extremely professional and kind. The bedside manner from all staff was great and they were thorough with all information. Medical stuff is hard to deal with, but with people like this, the discomfort was eased. I highly recommend this office to anyone needing this type of help.
