Dr. Jensen attended Duke University for his undergraduate studies and received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Jensen stayed on for a yearlong appointment as chief medical resident followed by subspecialty training in gastroenterology and hepatology.
