Specialty Drug Coordinator
Busy Lone Tree Gastroenterology office is seeking a detail oriented candidate to fill a full time Monday – Friday position.
This position is responsible for obtaining authorizations for our onsite Gastroenterology Infusion center. These medications include Remicade, Entyvio, Stelara, Humira and others. In addition, charge entry, filing insurance claims, helping patients with drug assistance programs and patient payment collection is required.
This candidate will possess independence, ability to handle high volume work, multitask and prioritize.
In addition, organization, computer skills, EMR, scanning, indexing, Excel, phone and customer service skills are a must.

Scheduling Coordinator- Physician Schedule Management
Summary: Responsible for maintaining and managing all aspects of a complex multisite medical practice schedule to ensure maximized revenue and time management. This position has frequent interruptions and requires handling several computer software programs simultaneously. The right candidate will be able to bounce back and forth and respond to frequent requests with ease and accuracy.
Duties and responsibilities:

  • Medical Practice Templates- Create, maintain, and balance 7+ locations
  • Medical Provider Templates-Create , Maintain, and balance 21 MD and 6 PA/NP
  • Patient Templates-Create, maintain, and balance various patient types
  • Block Time assessment & release
  • Respond to provider requests for schedule changes
  • Distribute and Notify Hospitals of call schedule & changes
  • Schedule & Reschedule appointments
  • Monthly schedule objective- 3 months out
  • Frequent reporting of stats and goal assessment

Medical Assisting with College Grads
Our Practice is seeking new and experienced Medical Assistants including college graduates seeking clinical experience for grad school.
We have Medical Assisting positions open at 2 of our clinics- Englewood- Swedish Medical Center, and Lone Tree- Sky Ridge Medical Center.

Primary Medical Assistant duties:
Scheduling procedures and providing extensive prep instructions to patients for the procedures
Prior Authorizations on Medications
Rooming patients by obtaining vitals and a complete medical history on each patient

Placing return for treatment ticklers into EMR
Work collaboratively with 3 to 4 providers

College students- We do not require you to scribe with this position. You will have the opportunity to observe physicians in the clinic and observe GI procedures. This includes a mentoring physician and a letter of recommendation if needed.
Medical Assistants- We do require national certification along with your MA diploma, however we will work with the right candidate to obtain their MA certification.

Medical Records Position
Entry level position available. Busy Medical Records Department located in DTC is seeking a full-time Electronic Medical Records Coordinator. This person must be able to multi-task, complete records request efficiently and timely, and become HIPAA trained/certified. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellent phone etiquette, and advanced computer skills are a must. EHR experience is a plus.
Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Completion and documentation of all records in any format in EHR
  2. Prep documents to convert to EHR
  3. Scanning and classifying documents
  4. Electronically reviewing providers schedule and charts
  5. Answering phones and returning calls
  6. Adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  7. Monitor medical records queue

Requirements:

  1. Electronic medical records experience.
  2. Advanced computer skills
  3. Customer service experience in a medical environment

Full time RN
South Denver Gastroenterology is seeking a Full time RN, to join our growing practice. 
The ideal RN candidate will have a BSN degree, at least 2 years of a Med/Surg. background and proficient IV skills. GI experience is preferred.
This position is clinic based, with rotation to 3 sites. Duties include, but not exclusive of: Telephone Triage of all GI modalities, Infusions of Remicade and Entyvio, monitoring of patients on biologics, immunosuppressive drugs,  patient education, followup and support. 
Our team seeks a self motivated, intuitive nurse who can prioritize, has critical thinking skills, is detail oriented and has reliable attendance and flexibility. Strong communication skills are needed, as clear written and verbal communication between the team, physicians, NP’s and PA’s is vital. Compassion and commitment to the team, our patients and nursing professionalism is a must.
