About Aimée E. Truesdale, M.D.
Dr. Truesdale is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She moved to Colorado in 2004 to complete her residency training in internal medicine at the University of Colorado. Dr. Truesdale completed GI fellowship training at the University of Virginia and her transplant hepatology fellowship at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Center.
Before joining South Denver GI, Dr. Truesdale spent 12 years in academic medicine caring primarily for patients with liver disease and training future gastroenterologists in the University of Colorado School of Medicine GI fellowship program. She became an Associate Professor of Medicine in 2019 in the Division of Digestive and Liver Health, Denver Health and Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at University of Colorado.
Growing up in Louisiana, Dr. Truesdale has an appreciation for good coffee, great food and live music. Here in Colorado, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and her pets outdoors. She is also active in the antique and vintage item resale community.
