Dr. KC received his undergraduate degree in molecular biology and chemistry from the University of Denver. He attended medical school at the University of Colorado before completing his internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota. There he served as chief resident for an additional year as well as trained in global medicine, receiving a certificate of knowledge in clinical tropical medicine and travelers’ health. Between residency and fellowship, he worked for two years as academic attending hospitalist at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. He completed his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at the University of Minnesota, where he served as chief fellow.
