Clinical research is an important part of our commitment to meeting all of your GI needs. Over the past decade, we have conducted 38 clinical trials, with five to seven trials active at a given time. Our focus on developing new GI therapies improves outcomes and quality of life for patients.

We are currently enrolling patients in clinical trials for the following GI conditions:

NASH

Primary Biliary Cholangitis

Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis

Hepatic Encephalopathy

Cirrhosis

Please talk with your South Denver GI provider to learn more about these trials.

Why should I participate in a clinical trial?

  • You will receive access to promising new therapies that are not yet available to patients outside the study.
  • Your treatment options will expand, and you can play a more active role in your care.
  • Contribute to advancing medical knowledge to help other patients in the future.

What information will I receive when deciding to participate in a clinical trial?

Your South Denver GI provider or someone from our research team will provide you with comprehensive information about the specific study, including its purpose, tests and procedures involved and any possible risks and benefits of your participation. A written consent form explaining the study will also be provided.
